Lumberjack's supper
Join us for our annual Lumberjack's Supper, a popular event that has been running for years. Enjoy a hearty meal in good company, close to our woodland. It's a great opportunity to support Kilby Woodland Trust and enjoy a memorable evening.
Our next supper is planned for Saturday 7th March 2026, 7pm, at the Dog and Gun, Kilby.
Tickets are £20 for annual members (£25 for non members)

Whisky Tasting
We are looking forward to hosting our first whisky tasting evening on Saturday 16th May at 7pm. We are planning delicious whiskies to taste along with cheese, biscuits and bread. Places will be limited so please get yours early.

Wine Tasting
We are looking forward to hosting our first wine tasting evening on Saturday 1st August 2026 (tbc) We are planning 6 delicious wines to taste along with cheese, biscuits and bread. Places will be limited so please book yours early

Volunteer days
Roll up your sleeves and get involved in our volunteer days, working in the heart of Kilby Woodland. Activities include painting, clearing pathways, and planting trees and plants to enhance our beautiful woodland. It’s a fantastic way to contribute directly to our conservation efforts and enjoy the great outdoors.
We need help on the following dates, meeting at 10-12 at the Fleckney Road Gardens area:
Saturday 14th March 2026
Saturday 16th May 2026
Saturday 1st August 2026
Please do turn up with suitable clothing and footwear!

Car Boot Sale
We are planning on trialling a late spring car boot sale in the Dog & Gun car park. It will be on a Saturday morning , 9-12 and bacon butties, tea & coffee will be available.
At just £10 per pitch, it's a great chance to have a clear out. We ask you to make a small donation from your proceeds.

Woodland picnic & Apple Festival
We will celebrate the harvest season with our Picnic and Apple Festival at Kilby Woodland Trust! Enjoy apple-themed activities and pressing. It's a perfect event for all ages, offering a fun and educational experience in the heart of nature.
We plan to run this on Saturday 5th September from midday. This is a free event for all our full annual members and Friends of the Kilby Woodland Trust. Bring along your own picnic and your family and friends to enjoy a relaxing day out in the beautiful setting of Kilby Woodland.

Indian Cooking Masterclass
We are excited to announce our plans for an Indian cooking masterclass. Summit and Kiriti, our neighbours on Main Street, have kindly offered to host this event in September.
