Local business spotlights

This is where we will highlight wonderful local businesses who support our trust.

The Dog & Gun: Our favourite local pub, who have always supported our woodland and events. Why not call in for some refreshments after a walk around the woodland.

Development and maintenance updates

Our Pond Project: Work continues ... and we hope to be completed by May.

Path maintenance: We will start mowing the paths in March. If you would like to volunteer to drive the small tractor (kindly donated by the Parsons family), please let us know through the contact page.

Hedgerows: The winter cut has just taken place and we thank Will Gilbert and family for their continued support

Bird Boxes: We are starting a programme of bird box repairs late January/early Feb. If you can help Russ with this, please get in touch.

Bridges: We will be building new foundations for the 'Sheila Jones' bridge (kindly donated by the Kilsby's), as well as putting a new bridge in across the stream by the bird hide (kindly donated by Anders Mankert).

Grants: In 2026 we will be applying for the Woodland Management Plan Grant. This will help us plan longer term for the future of our woodland.
