About Kilby Woodland Trust

Our mission
Kilby Woodland Trust is a volunteer run charity based in Kilby, Leicestershire dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of our local woodland. We rely on the support of our community to continue our vital work and are led by our Chair, Iain Jones, who started the trust 15 years ago along with Chris Parker and John Emery, later joined by Russ Sciville

Get involved
We believe that Kilby Woodland is a treasure for all of us, and we encourage everyone to contribute to its well-being. Whether you're interested in volunteering your time, attending our upcoming events, or making a donation, there are many ways to support our work. Your involvement helps us to protect and enhance this vital green space for future generations.

Why your support matters
Your support directly impacts our ability to maintain and improve Kilby Woodland. Donations help us purchase essential equipment, fund habitat restoration projects, and organise maintenance activities. Volunteers contribute countless hours to tasks such as tree planting, path maintenance, and creating wildlife environments. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
"Kilby Woodland is a vital green space for our community. It's a place to connect with nature, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Let's work together to protect it for future generations."
